Lonavala: INS Shivaji, the premier Marine Engineering training base of the Indian Navy, successfully hosted the course completion ceremony of the Marine Engineering Specialisation Course (MESC).
The event marked the graduation of 28 naval officers, including 14 from the Indian Navy and 14 international trainees from Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Tanzania, Ghana, Bangladesh, and Cameroon.

Vice Admiral Sanjay Sadhu, AVSM, NM, Programme Director of the Advanced Technology Vessel Project (ATVP), presided over the ceremony as Chief Guest.
The Marine Engineering Specialisation Course is designed to deliver high-impact, hands-on learning, equipping officers with operational and technical expertise in marine engineering systems.
Participants underwent rigorous training, including onboard assignments on Indian Navy warships and technical project work tailored to real-world operational scenarios.
